Francisco Paes is a process engineer graduated at the Federal University of Parana (Curitiba, Brazil) and at ENSIACET (Toulouse, France) as part of a double degree agreement. Through academic and industrial research internships, he worked with topics related to kinetics, thermodynamics, and processes design and simulation. These experiences motivated him to pursue a doctoral degree. In 2021, Francisco enrolled in the graduate program in science and engineering of molecules, products, processes and energy at Lorraine University. His thesis topic involves the development of high-throughput thermodynamic methods combined with oxidation stability models of sustainable biofuels.
